The litigation department specializes in dealing with civil court claims on behalf of our clients mainly in cases of civil liability, aviation, insurance, divorce, minors and debt collection.

We also specialize in issuing expert opinions on matters of civil law to be used in foreign courts. The litigation team has experienced litigators who, with the cooperation of our English Solicitors, seek to provide to the client with a clear understanding of the Portuguese court system using concepts and terms that are familiar.

In addition, our litigation department is developing its Mediation and in Arbitration areas with a view to providing swift and equitable decisions in commercial, civil and family matters where the recourse to courts would be a costly and lengthy alternative.
